Anaphylaxis is a severe, sudden allergic reaction that occurs when the body is exposed to certain stimuli to which the person’s immune system is more sensitive than normal, causing the functioning of various organs throughout the body to malfunction, which can lead to severe symptoms such as shock or death.   • Gastrointestinal system, such as nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, diarrhea

The most common symptoms are skin symptoms, followed by respiratory, cardiac, and gastrointestinal symptoms. In some, there may be no skin symptoms.

Generalized allergic reactions usually occur in one system of the body when triggered by an allergen and have mild symptoms. Symptoms can be treated like normal illnesses, such as taking medicine or applying medicine. However, severe allergic reactions result in more than one body system having problems at the same time or close to the same time and may lead to death within 30 minutes if not treated promptly. Allergic reactions occur within a few minutes to 2 hours after being triggered.
